I received a great piece of advice the other day – at the end of any task, find 10 minutes to manage yourself.
Before you push send on that email to your boss, that design to your client, or that product pitch to your customer, spend 10 minutes to look at it from their point of view. What would she be interested in? What would he look for? Is the work easy to understand (e.g. are the axes on the graphs labelled)?
10 minutes. That’s all it takes. Little investments can reap big returns.
