leave the rest.
Periods of suspense and anxiety are normal..
they keep coming and going. As they say ‘Even this will pass away..’
But, it is tempting to completely lose sight of what we are doing at the current moment and wait with bated breath about whatever it is that is taking our attention.. it may be ok for today but we are sure to land into trouble tomorrow..
We can’t change what’s going to happen.. we might as well take full care of what we are doing right now.. :)
I have always been intrigued as to how..
I am so focussed while playing football that I don’t seem to care for much else or think about much else..
How can I make that happen with everything else I am doing?
I don’t know but I guess the awareness and the questioning is a start..
Its amazing how some things get us to wake up..
and focus..
however deep we may be sleeping..
Work hard..
be persistent..
As Antoine put it.. ‘Following up’ is the key to execution.. following up persistently to get a job done is the only thing that would make it happen..
:)
The difference between work sitting in front of you..
and you doing it is 1) structure 2)scoreboard
assumption: your job/livelihood is not at stake.. :D
The thought of being called into action..
after a period of relative inaction is exciting..
call of war for a soldier..
smell of sawdust for a circus performer.. :D
Eat well and on time, sleep well..
and play..
simple is probably the most complex thing to achieve..
:)
Its all about discipline..
its about being disciplined to not overdo anything..
its not about playing it safe.. definitely about taking swings..
sounds contradictory..
welcome to life..
Life comes back a full circle..
every action has an equal and opposite reaction..
:)
Do everything with best interests at heart..and it will come back..
