but very few are prepared to prepare to win..

The difference between an adult and a child is..
when an adult is asked if he/she can play the violin, the adult would shoot a 'No' for an answer.
The child would probably say 'Don't know..havent tried it yet'..
Are we shooting ourselves down? Or are we giving ourselves an opportunity to try?

It is inevitable..
that I will get better.
What's outside is a mirror of whats inside.. Hence, if we feel something is inevitable, it is said that the whole universe would conspire to make it happen. :-)

A man is..
what he thinks he is..

Start the day by saying to yourself –
today is going to be the most productive day of my life! :)
It sure has brightened the start.. will keep you informed of the results at the end of it.. ha ha.
Have a break..
b – r – e – a – k! :D
Sometimes it is good to get an outside perspective..
catch up with a close friend, chat about the world, work, life and about activities in common. Easy to get wound up!
Good to come out of it! :)
Tough times don’t last..
tough people do..
:)
Sometimes…
things just don’t happen as per ‘plan’. You think you have got things under control but in reality most of it is spiralling out and then it hits at one shot with a big BANG and then you’re like – whaaat? where did this come from?
It was all supposed to be part of the plan and you thought all was going ok and then bam.. all wrong.. and the same story all over again..
This isn’t as per the script. Obviously, left to us, everything would go as per plan or so we think. And there are a hundred factors that could be blamed but at the end of the day, we must make sure that we do all we can to make sure things to go as per plan. Sometimes, the inconceivable happens but it takes some experience and judgement before we can handle those unexpected pitfalls. As the saying goes, ‘Smooth seas do not make fine sailors’..
And if seas are rough for a very long time, let’s keep the faith, be positive and keep giving it our best. At times, it is the case that we look around and we find others around not seeing what we are seeing, not going through what we are going through and there is that niggling doubt – ‘is this as per the big plan?’ ..
I guess that’s the time to chuck it, do what we have to do and move on..
PS: It is difficult to crystallize the learning behind this ‘rant’, if we might call it that.. but internally, its just a point when I know that I’m going to keep at it and smile at it, no matter what.. and be prepared to pay whatever price.. maybe thats a learning in itself – who knows? :)
The difference between successful people..
and the not as successful ones is said to be because while the not so's enter meetings and try and stay awake, the successful ones always have an agenda and clear understanding of what needs to be done so it is achieved!
Leys appply that to all our project meetings now.. :-)
