Are you an audio book, an e book or a paperback?

Of course, what I mean to ask is – what are you most comfortable with. I have had lots of friends complain that reading has somehow never worked out. I have a simple question for them – Have you tried reading audio books? (or e-books for that matter..)

We are not all built the same and while reading books is synonymous with reading paperback books, it need not be the case. I, for one, can breeze through an audio book while I’d find reading a physical book very forced and stressful(unless it’s a novel where i don’t need to pay attention to the details). And I just can’t get through an e-book.

So, if you are not reading much these days because the thought of a book is not appealing, I don’t blame you. I was there once.. The next actions are –

1) Try out the audio and e-book mediums. There is a very high chance that you’ll like one of them.
2) If you are an audio book person, you will find free audio books that can be downloaded on the internet. However, you will run out after a point. And that’s when you start investing in Audible (www.audible.com)
3) And if you are e-book person, Google will become your new best friend.. (if it already isn’t.. :))

There are, of course, multiple advantages of reading audio/e-books – the biggest of them being the ease of reading when you are traveling. And even if you are a paperback book person, don’t fret – There’s always a ‘kindle‘.

Happy reading!
